Having grown up and visited many African countries I have seen first hand what it means to come from a disadvantaged background and have witnessed children living in extreme poverty. I understand the challenges and barriers many children face in accessing education, healthcare, and basic needs such as clean running water and just one meal a day. For this reason I have chosen to help raise funds for the Atlas Foundation who do a fantastic job in supporting the worlds most disadvantaged children and those living in extreme poverty.

Please help me to raise funds for this worthwhile charity by sponsoring me to complete my challenge of climbing two peaks on two contents in one month with a total ascent higher than Mount Everest (8,848m).

My challenge starts in the Atlas mountains of Morocco with Mount Toubkal (4,167 m) the highest peak in North Africa on the 27 September. I then travel to the Himalayas to take on a 14 day trek to summit Gokoy-Ri (5,357 m) on Monday 27 October. The combined height of these two mountains is 9,524 m.

Thank you for your support and please be assured that all money raised will be going to the Atlas foundation and will not be used to cover any of my expenses for the Gokyo-Ri expedition.
