The Atlas DigiBus goes beyond traditional education by addressing the critical challenges faced by schools in Langa. Overcrowded classrooms and limited resources make it difficult for students to get the support they need. The DigiBus tackles these challenges by:
- Providing structured, English-medium lessons to help students thrive.
- Bringing teachers directly into communities, reducing the educational exclusion gap.
- Equipping students with vital digital skills to prepare them for a brighter future.
How Your Donation Helps
We’ve launched an appeal to raise £25,000 to keep the Atlas DigiBus rolling—ensuring it remains fully operational and impactful. Every donation supports:
- Ongoing maintenance: Keeping the DigiBus in top condition so it can continue to serve communities weekly.
- Expansion of reach: Enabling us to bring the DigiBus to even more children in need.
Your support can make a difference in ensuring that the DigiBus continues to transform lives, one lesson at a time.
Real Impact, Real Change
Through the DigiBus program, we’ve already witnessed incredible outcomes:
- A 20% increase in academic test scores across subjects.
- Improved problem-solving and critical thinking skills, empowering students for future careers.
- Training for staff and volunteers through the Emerging Leaders course, ensuring a consistent, high-quality learning experience for each student.
Are you ready to help make a difference?
Support the Atlas DigiBus and become part of a journey that’s giving children the education and opportunities they deserve. Join us in building a brighter future for Langa’s youth—one mile, one lesson, and one dream at a time.

04/11/2024. Cape Town, South Africa. The Prince of Wales Visits Ocean View Secondary School. His Royal Highness saw the impact of the apartheid legacy on communities like those at Ocean View. The Prince participated in rugby coaching sessions with pupils from Ocean View and Masiphumelele High Schools and took part in a digital skills lesson for primary school children from Langa Township in an Atlas Digi Bus. The Prince also talked to students, coaches, and members of the Atlas Foundation, hearing more about Atlas’s work in South Africa, including gender-based violence and the people-to-people sporting links between South African and United Kingdom.
