Growing up, Beauty often felt invisible. Quiet and unsure of herself, she carried the weight of daily struggles that many children in her neighbourhood faced: overcrowding, poverty, and limited opportunities. Although she attended school, her confidence was low, and she often felt unsure of herself. The idea of stepping outside her comfort zone, particularly into a sport like rugby, seemed daunting.

But everything began to change when Beauty joined the Ocean View and Masiphumelele High School programme. She found more than just a place to play rugby. She discovered a supportive team environment where she has formed friendships and feels accepted and encouraged.  Her journey is one of resilience, transformation, and hope.
