Who You're Helping
Growing up in Jharkhand, India, Soniya’s life was shaped by poverty and expectation. Her father’s frequent ill health forced him to search for work far from home, leaving the family vulnerable and Soniya under constant pressure to abandon education and accept a life shaped by circumstance rather than choice.
When Soniya first joined our local partner Khelo Rugby at the age of 10, she was carrying the weight of these challenges. Khelo became a lifeline for Soniya.
