Atlas Trustee visits Bhubesi Pride Foundation!
Atlas Trustee, John Clougherty, recently visited Bhubesi Pride Foundation in rural Lilongwe, Malawi, to see first hand the incredible work BPF does for children facing extreme poverty.

Gina’s Story

Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation visits Atlas South Africa!
Atlas South Africa were honoured to host the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation and the U16s Rugby Monaco team to join us in a 3-day rugby programme. Playing against the kids at Ocean & Masi High, followed by a visit to our Atlas DigiBus, the visit was enjoyed by all, and saw some exceptional rugby!
Tiziano’s story
Extreme poverty, unemployment, and problems with addiction in the community make life difficult for Tiziano. With the help of Virreyes Rugby Club, and the support of his community, things are beginning to look up for Tiziano, and he now is able to see a way towards for a better future.
Felix’s Story
Meet Felix, who faces harsh prejudice and discrimination due to his albinism. Felix struggles to cope with these challenges, but with the help of Bhubesi Pride Foundation’s Reconnect programme, things are changing for Felix. He no longer faces discrimination from the other kids, and he has made great friends from the programme. Felix is much happier and more confident thanks to BPF and is becoming a great rugby player!
Study Cat kicks off at Khelo!
Atlas is working with Study Cat to provide children at Khelo rugby with essential technology to improve their education. This programme is a game changer and is making education accessible for these children. With your continued support we can continue to provide more children with life changing opportunities like this!
James’ Story
When James joined Star* he was struggling in school, and was in Alternative Provision. The support James has from Star* has changed his life, helping to go back to mainstream school, and gain a 100% sports scholarship to a prestigious independent school!
Women’s Barbarians join The Atlas Foundation to inspire the next generation
The Women’s Barbarians joined The Atlas Foundation at Ocean View High School for a coaching day ahead of their South African test. The Baabaas and kids shared skills, stories and an unexpected lesson in hurling from their Irish contingent. The girls at Ocean View and Masiphumelele were inspired by the Baabaas and were exhilarated to spend some time with female rugby role models.
The Atlas DigiBus continues to help children thrive!
The Atlas DigiBus is helping an extra 1300 children per month in Langa, Cape Town with their computer lessons and this is leading to remarkable improvements in their English, Maths and coding skills! The Atlas Digibus gives these children valuable opportunities for growth and development, providing them with the chance to thrive!
