Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation visits Atlas South Africa!
Atlas South Africa were honoured to host the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation and the U16s Rugby Monaco team to join us in a 3-day rugby programme. Playing against the kids at Ocean & Masi High, followed by a visit to our Atlas DigiBus, the visit was enjoyed by all, and saw some exceptional rugby!
Study Cat kicks off at Khelo!
Atlas is working with Study Cat to provide children at Khelo rugby with essential technology to improve their education. This programme is a game changer and is making education accessible for these children. Women’s Barbarians join The Atlas Foundation to inspire the next generation
The Women’s Barbarians joined The Atlas Foundation at Ocean View High School for a coaching day ahead of their South African test. The Baabaas and kids shared skills, stories and an unexpected lesson in hurling from their Irish contingent. The girls at Ocean View and Masiphumelele were inspired by the Baabaas and were exhilarated to spend some time with female rugby role models.
The Atlas DigiBus continues to help children thrive!
The Atlas DigiBus is helping an extra 1300 children per month in Langa, Cape Town with their computer lessons and this is leading to remarkable improvements in their English, Maths and coding skills! The Atlas Digibus gives these children valuable opportunities for growth and development, providing them with the chance to thrive!
South Africa Golf Day Success!
The recent annual golf day for Atlas South Africa was a great success and raised valuable funds for our projects across South Africa!
Mission Accomplished at the URC!
Mission Accomplished with Atlas USA at the URC! Atlas USA held the Urban Rugby Championships last week, which was a great success, despite the rain. The children all enjoyed the experience, and told us how they had made new friends, and had a chance to get out of their comfort zone. Some even described it as the time of their lives!
International Mother Language Day
On International Mother Language Day, we are celebrating how the Atlas DigiBus is transforming children’s lives, and giving them better opportunities for the future. Through teaching English, the Atlas DigiBus is allowing children who previously only spoke their indigenous language the ability to access education, and is providing them with the chance to thrive!

Maro Itoje joins the Atlas Foundation Board of Trustees
We are absolutely delighted to announce that the Saracens and England lock, Maro Itoje, has been elected to the Board of Trustees. As an Atlas Foundation Trustee Maro will be legally responsible, as a Board Director, for charitable compliance and will work with the other Trustees to set the strategic direction of the charity, ensuring that Atlas fulfils its vision and mission.
